We are delighted to offer three new courses this year that highlight the diversity of the Jewish community. In the Fall, Dr. Max Thornton is teaching Queer Religions (Jewish 499/LGBT 499) and Dr. Amanda Ruppenthal Stein is teaching “American Jewish Culture & History Through Music” (Jewish 247). In the Spring, Rabbi Dr. Armin Langer will be teaching “Jews of Latin America” (Jewish/WLC 499; eventually Jewish/WLC 351). All three courses will be taught online with a synchronous component. We’re thrilled to have these new courses expanding our students’ learning, and thank Bader Philanthropies for making them possible.
