United Nations Schools of International Learning (UNSIL)

U.N.S.I.L WORLD FAIR

Come and join MPS 4th – 8th grade students as they present almost 1500 projects about member countries, organs, cultures, and goals of the United Nations. UNSIL is an educational program that aims to teach Milwaukee’s young people about the world and its diverse opportunities, responsibilities, and leadership that the United Nations offers. This experience helps students develop critical academic skills such as research, writing, and presenting, with a focus on global affairs and current events. Students also learn vital skills in debate, negotiation, and conflict resolution, while fostering empathy and tolerance – all competencies that will benefit them in college, career, and life. You are invited to attend the World Fair, where students will showcase their work to each other and the community and enjoy cultural performances from fellow MPS students.
