The main objective of this project is to systematically document and promote the latest and most effective data management and governance practices among transportation agencies and DOTs, regardless of their maturity levels. This objective will be achieved through two key activities, namely, organizing and analyzing two peer exchanges, and developing comprehensive communication and dissemination products that will be fine-tuned based on feedback and insights from the peer exchanges. By sharing successes and challenges of current and emerging data management and governance practices, this project aims to help transportation agencies and DOTs improve their practices and achieve better outcomes.
