This project seeks to transform the integration of complex transportation research findings into practical applications for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT). Utilizing a cloud-based platform, it aims to make sophisticated research algorithms accessible and usable for DOT professionals and other stakeholders who may lack technical expertise. The key objectives include: (1) developing a user-friendly web interface that simplifies interaction with advanced research outputs; (2) integrating these algorithms into a single system for seamless use within DOT’s existing infrastructure; (3) enhancing the decision-making processes by providing DOT professionals with actionable insights from research; and (4) documenting the challenges and solutions associated with deploying research in practical scenarios.
