Natalie Naquin

My name is Natalie Naquin, and I am currently a professional masters student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, concentrating on forecasting and modeling in meteorology and graduating in August 2023. I am originally from New Orleans, LA, and I received my Bachelor’s degree in meteorology from Mississippi State University in May 2022. My fascination for the field started after talking with a meteorologist at a local news station on a high school field trip. His talk of the calculus and physics aspect of the field really piqued my interested, even though I (ironically) did not want the broadcast aspect of it. Outside of work and school, I enjoy embroidery, watching the Office for about the hundredth time, tending to my plants, and thrifting vintage vinyl.
