Mariann Maile

My name is Mariann Maile and this will be my third year at UWM. I am from Waukesha so I started college at UWM’s Waukesha Campus in 2021. I received my Associate Degree from that campus in the Spring of 2023. While pursing my two-year degree I also started studying Atmospheric Science at the Milwaukee Campus, where I am now. I have always wanted to study meteorology and my love for weather started when my father took me storm spotting for the first time when I was little. I was hooked and I have been volunteer storm spotting for around 10 years now. I am involved with the Atmospheric Science Club and enjoy weather photography in my free time. I also enjoy working on my truck and spending a lot of time outdoors.
