Aidan Kuroski

  • Meteorologist, NWS - Milwaukee/Sullivan

I grew up in the small town of Bethel, CT with my parents and my three younger brothers and one younger sister and spent most of my life there before moving to Brockport, NY to attend SUNY College at Brockport to study Meteorology. I then moved to Milwaukee, WI to attend UWM in the Fall of 2016 to pursue my Master's degree. My love of the weather somewhat stemmed from various events in my life. At one point I was almost struck by lightning, I experienced many large snowstorms, there was a brief touchdown of a tornado on my road as a child, and I experienced some of the effects of Hurricanes Irene and Sandy, although I have loved weather most of my life. One thing I love more than anything, outside of meteorology, is sports. I love to play and watch just about every sport, including table tennis, badminton, tennis, and many others including all of the classic sports. My favorite teams are the Blackhawks, Raiders, Yankees, Knicks, and Manchester City with my favorite tennis player being Rafael Nadal and if I am not working on research or at Innovative Weather chances are that I am watching my favorite sports teams/player.
