Bio

Molly Susan Mathias is currently the User Experiences Librarian and User Experiences Team Lead at the UWM Libraries.  She serves as a subject liaison to the Communications Department, Journalism And Media Studies, the English Department and the School of Information Studies. She has worked as an academic librarian and a School of Information Sciences adjunct instructor for almost 20 years.  Ms. Mathias is an integral part of the User Services Division at the UWM Libraries, where she focuses on student engagement, community outreach, learning spaces, and student success. She manages the very successful Research Help Desk Internship at the UWM Libraries.  Her research interests include information literacy, library service philosophy, UX (User Experiences), digital divide ethics (United States) and the literary cannon.
