Starting July 1, 2025, ArcGIS Desktop will be officially discontinued at UWM, in alignment with Esri’s phase-out plan. This means new installations and license renewals for ArcMap and related applications (like ArcCatalog) will no longer be supported on campus. Students and faculty are encouraged to transition to ArcGIS Pro, Esri’s modern and fully supported desktop GIS solution.
