On Friday, UWM administrators met with student protest representatives for the third time in a week. Both sides share the goal of a peaceful resolution to the encampment on the lawn outside of Mitchell Hall.
UWM is appreciative of the ongoing dialogue and is meeting in good faith but is concerned with the shifting of the protesters’ demands. Although no agreement has yet been reached, UWM remains hopeful that it will be soon. UWM Police are continuing to monitor the encampment.
