The results of your FAFSA are referred to as a FAFSA Submission Summary or FSS.
- FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS):
- After you submit your FAFSA, you can access the results via studentaid.gov or through the email you receive.
- Results are typically available within 3-10 days.
- Making Corrections:
- If you need to make corrections, log in to fafsa.gov and select “Make Corrections.”
- Not all corrections are accepted, so it’s a good idea to contact the Student Financial Service Center before making certain changes (such as for household size, asset information, or marital status).
- You will receive a new Summary anytime corrections are made.
- New Summary:
- If any corrections are made, you’ll receive a new FAFSA Summary.
- Additional Information:
- Be on the lookout for any additional requests for information. These will be sent via email or show up on your PAWS account.
- Financial Aid Eligibility:
- If no additional information is needed, expect to be notified of your financial aid eligibility via email in about 3-4 weeks.
- Due to processing delays, new students will likely receive their financial aid offers around mid-February. We have yet to determine when current students will receive their financial aid offers.
