We’re looking to increase awareness of student scholarships. UWM offers scholarships based on a variety of factors, including academic merit, financial need, leadership, and service.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to use the Scholarships Promotion Toolkit to promote scholarships to students in their courses or around campus, using the following resources:
- Poster: Print/post a copy where you think students will see it most.
- PowerPoint Slide: Add to the beginning of your deck and display while students are entering and getting settled for class.
- Canvas Announcement: Post in your Canvas course anytime from November 1 until February 1.
- Digital Screen: Publish on screens in your building anytime from August 1 until February 1.
- Website: Direct students who ask questions here for additional resources.
