We provide resources that aim to create a welcoming campus for everyone. Equity-mindedness workshops and tools are available to academic and administrative units. A sense of belonging in an inclusive community where all may reach their full potential is instrumental in recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce. Thus, we support coalition building among three affinity groups: African Diaspora Council, Asian Faculty and Staff Association, and Latinx Staff and Faculty Association. Indigenous staff and faculty are invited to join all gatherings. We believe formal and informal networking is essential for career advancement, so we offer ongoing opportunities for employees to build skills and broaden their network.
