UWM Dining Options & Hours

UWM offers a wide array of dining options, with food choices that accommodate a variety of dietary needs. Students can enjoy a meal at either of our Residential Dining Cafés or at any of our distinct retail food outlets. For the student on the go, UWM has three convenience stores and over 30 vending machines campus-wide.
Student Union Dining
The UWM Student Union, located at 2200 E. Kenwood Blvd has multiple unique food outlets, each designed to cater to students’, staff and visitors personal needs and preferences. Whether you’re looking for a quick snack, a coffee, full lunch, pub-style fare or a simple drink and bag of chips, the Union has it all. Most options are available in the Atrium Food Court on the campus level. Visitors will find the Union’s convenience store, Union Station, on street level, and the Gasthaus, the Union’s restaurant and bar, in the basement.

Residential Dining
UWM operates two cafés for residential students at Sandburg Halls and Cambridge Commons – each featuring multiple rotating dining stations during the academic year. Residential students have access to their own Grind location and Restor convenience stores.

Vending
There are various snack and drink vending machines all around the UWM campus. When you need to fuel up, these vending machines are there for you.
Vending machines get filled at least once a week to ensure that you can have a snack whenever you want.
