Use-Case Example: Private 5G Integration in Industrial Automation
This use case highlights the modernization of a manufacturing line by migrating from a traditional network architecture to Private 5G. Marking the first deployment of its kind in North America, this project was executed in partnership with UScellular and Ericsson.
The migration was led by Connected Systems Institute students Asif Al Zubayer Swapnil and Shamar Webster, who successfully converted the network and demonstrated the solution at the ‘5G Day’ event hosted by UScellular and Ericsson.
