The Department of Communication’s process for admission to the Master’s program uses a rolling deadline for admissions targeted to the next term of instruction after the date of admission. A decision about admission is made as soon as a student’s required file information is complete. This means we admit students all year long to the Master’s program. We recommend that you submit materials as soon as possible to guarantee timely admission for the term of instruction you want to begin studying for the degree.

Admission: The priority deadline for Fall admission is December 1 of the previous year. Applications completed by this deadline will be considered in the first round of  assistantship decisions. We do not typically offer teaching assistantships with Spring start dates.

You are encouraged to contact the Masters Program Director at any point in the application process.
