“My time at UWM really set the stage for my career path. I loved teaching Interpersonal Communication as a teaching assistant, and that introduction to teaching led me to teach collegiate-level Communication/Speech classes and to coach competitive forensics (Speech and Debate) for 8 years in Minnesota and Nebraska. Now I use my Communication and Mediation skills regularly as I supervise academic advisors at CU and provide academic advising to first-year students. My experience at UWM was most definitely a valuable one!!”
