UWM Center for Celtic Studies joins Shamrock Club of WI 55th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade

On Saturday, March 11, 2023, Celtic Studies once again walked the parade at the Shamrock Club of WI 55th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Merely one of over 100 groups participating, Celtic Studies heard loud cheers from the crowd – ‘Go Panthers’ and ‘Maith thú!’ It was a wonderful display of support and smiles from lots of familiar faces, and hopefully soon-to-be-familiar faces! We are thankful to the Shamrock Club for their hard work in putting together a huge parade which thousands attended to showcase the support for Irish culture and heritage here in our city, and we are thankful to be a unique part of that experience!
