Narae Lee is a postdoctoral research associate at CED. Lee’s research expertise lies in analyzing various health impacts of physical and social environments. Her research focuses on social determinants of health, economic disparities, and health impacts of affordable housing and community design. To measure health, she uses different health indices such as violent crime, mental and physical health, and environmental exposure. Prior to joining the Center, she worked for the Pennsylvania State University’s Population Research Institute as a postdoctoral scholar and obtained her Ph.D. in Urban and Environmental Planning and Policy at the University of California, Irvine.
