Our team, comprised of planners, architects, interior designers, and space data experts, oversees planning, design, construction, demolition, and relocation processes for new campus buildings, renovation projects, and outdoor spaces; campus space use, utilization, and occupancy management including space validation and space audits; academic program space assessments; land use planning, site development, and improvement of outdoor spaces; leased spaces within campus and state facilities; and accessibility, sustainability, and building code compliance.
In collaboration with the campus community, we plan for, design, and implement state-of-the-art, modern learning environments for students, faculty, and staff. Our efforts contribute to UWM’s unique tripartite mission of access, research, and engagement, advancing student success by providing high-quality learning environments.
