To apply to the Certificate in Molecular Diagnostics, please email the CHS Office of Student Affairs, at chs-info@uwm.edu.
No, the enrollment period is rolling. You can apply at any time. Deadlines only surround class schedules.
Some, but not all, of the required coursework is offered in an online format.
Although flexibility is built into this Certificate Program, you will be expected to have basic knowledge of microbiology and genetics, and at least one advanced laboratory course (500 level or above) to qualify for the Certificate.

In addition to regular tuition, there are also mandatory/segregated fees which are funds earmarked for the support of certain student services. See the Mandatory/Segregated Fees document for the appropriate semester on the UWM Enrollment & Financial Services website.
There may be additional course fees (in addition to regular tuition) that could include differential tuition, distance education fees, or special course fees. To see if your courses have additional fees, go to web.uwm.edu/registrar/tools/fee.
You must complete all certificate courses within 3 years of initial enrollment in the certificate program.
