You can access Remote Labs from your device in SARUP or from home with a UWM VPN connection.

Step One: Connect to UWM’s Global Protect VPN first before logging into Remote Labs.

Step Two: Login to Remote Labs: https://remotelab.ad.uwm.edu/

Step Three: After you login into Remote Labs for the first time, choose SARUP – General.

Step Four (optional): If you would like access to SARUP – Rendering Remote Labs, send an email to XR-SARUP@uwm.edu.

What’s the Difference?

General Remote Labs have Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk products like AutoCAD and Revit, Rhino, ArcGIS Pro, MS Office, and many other programs.

Rendering Remote Labs have everything listed above, plus Enscape, TwinMotions, Lumion, Blender and several additional render applications.

Need Rhino Access?

If you started Rhino and get prompted for a license or login, follow these steps:

Step One: Create an account: https://www.rhino3d.com/my-account (If you already have an account, go to step two.)

Step Two: Send an email to SARUP-XR@uwm.edu with subject line “Rhino Access.” Please use the same email address that you used to activate your Rhino account.

Step Three: Watch your email inbox for account activation from Rhino to use SARUP-LABGroup cloud licensing.

Step Four: After accepting the invitation from Rhino, you can start Rhino on your SARUP computer and login with your Rhino account to get licensed.

SARUP-LABGroup cloud licensing access will be reset every semester.
