Biography

Over the course of 40 years, Raasch has established an impressive portfolio of award-winning projects, amounting to over ten million square feet of constructed work across eight different nations. His extensive experience includes a diverse range of building types, with a particular emphasis on corporate, residential, healthcare, and research facilities.

Raasch's commitment to architecture goes beyond his professional activities. He has a genuine enthusiasm for the continuous investigation of historical contexts, theoretical frameworks, and modern technical aspects pertinent to the field, all of which aid in creating more integrated and innovative design solutions. Drawing on his extensive project experience, he has taken an active role in mentoring individuals at the beginning of their careers in both planning and design, providing support in professional environments as well as in academic settings. Since 1996, he has regularly served as an Adjunct Professor at UW-Milwaukee, instructing courses ranging from introductory design studios to the Comprehensive Building Design Studio.
