Biography
Mary Kathryn (Kate) Edwards, AIA , NCARB is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Architecture and Urban Planning (SARUP) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and architect and principal at Quorum Architects, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI.
She received both her Bachelor of Design and Master of Architecture from the University of Florida (2002 and 2004). At UWM SARUP, Kate has taught undergraduate studios at the sophomore and junior levels since 2013. She enjoys working with students at their early years in the program.
At Quorum she has played an instrumental role by leading the design team with an emphasis on researched based design, especially related to academic and community centered design projects. Kate is a strong advocate for outreach and communication between the community and the architecture profession.
