Biography

Krissie Meingast (She/Her) has been leading the IT initiatives for the School of Architecture and Urban Planning for 25 years and counting. Krissie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee (1999). Krissie's research focuses on the use of XR in Architecture and its applications within the architecture curriculum. Krissie specializes in geographic information systems related to specialized servers and internet mapping applications. Krissie’s current positions are the Director of IT, Historic Preservation Institute, XR Lab Director for the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Systems Engineer II, Windows Device Management, and Alternate Building Chair for the School of Architecture and Urban Planning.
