Alum Paul Wellington (BS 2013, Architectural Studies; MArch 2015, Architecture) took his childhood passion for Legos and opened the American Construction Toy (ACT) Museum. The Cincinnati-based business functions as both a retail store and a museum dedicated to the rich 150-year history of building toys.
In a Cincinnati Business Courier article by Leah Zipperstein, Wellington explains how his childhood passion lead him down his academic and career paths. He hopes that readers will be inspired to build their own structures.
“There are tons of museums that focus on toys as a whole, but none that focus specifically on building toys. I wanted to make sure we offered something different,” Wellington said.
