Denim Day Decorating Event

Come decorate denim with the red handprint to represent Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) for the Denim Day Installation in Spaights Plaza on Wednesday, April 26th.

Dr. Sharity Bassett will be giving a talk during this event on the vacuum of justice in the U.S. surrounding sexual assault perpetrated against American Indian people.

This event is in collaboration with the Women’s Resource Center (WRC) and Denim Day for Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM).
