The UWM AI Governance Subcommittee invites all faculty and staff to join us for a virtual AI Town Hall on Thursday, May 1, from 10:30 a.m.-noon. Please use this Teams meeting link for the online event.
This is the third AI Town Hall since the kickoff last May, which marked the launch of the AI Taskforce. The work of the AI Taskforce has been completed, and we are eager to share our final recommendations and the plan for the future of AI at UWM.
The agenda includes:
- Overview of the recommendations from the AI Taskforce
- Overview of the new subcommittees: AI Governance, and IT Ethics and Privacy
- Training opportunities for AI technology
- Creating an AI community of practice and accelerator
