Dr. Taufeeque Ali, together with UWM Chemistry & Biochemistry professor Dr. Xiaohua Peng, co-founded SynXT Therapeutics last year to develop a new cancer therapy. Their approach shows strong promise in treating triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) while avoiding many of the harsh side effects associated with traditional chemotherapy.
