German
The UWM German Club is a registered student organization that meets regularly and hosts a wide range of activities like bake sales, local excursions, or virtual movie nights. Students of all levels of German language ability are welcome.
Our club’s purpose is to foster a dynamic and inclusive community for students interested in the German language, culture, and history. Our club also serves as a platform for cultural exchange, language practice, and deeper engagement with Germany’s rich traditions and contemporary issues. Our club is new and our goals are vast, but we would love to encourage students to join us in organizing events such as cultural festivals, language workshops, film screenings, and discussions on German politics, literature, and history. Through these means, we aim to provide students with both educational and social opportunities that enrich the university experience and promote cross-cultural understanding.
Students are encouraged to join the German Club officially through the pantherorgs sign-up. Current members can go directly to the club site. If you have any questions and would like to know more, you can also email the club officers at germanclub-Group@uwm.edu or contact your German instructor.
