Congratulations 2019 Global Studies Summer Internship Awardee Kayla Kozlowski!

My name is Kayla Kozlowski and I am a junior at University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. I am completing a double major in Global Studies- Management and Chinese with a certificate in Asian Studies. This summer, I have the amazing opportunity to explore a new part of the world through an internship with the NGO Saha Global. I will be spending three weeks in the northern regions of Ghana empowering women through education and resources to start up clean water businesses that will provide clean water to their communities and a stable income for female business owners. This internship is helping me discover a new path on which I can use my nonprofit management skills on a global scale. Through this scholarship I am not only able to complete my internship requirement, but it will also directly impact an entire community.
