Congratulations to Lu Yin and Jue Chen of the Chinese Program, who have been awarded a Lubar Entrepreneurship Center Fellowship for the 2026–2027 academic year in support of their project, “Bridging Classrooms and Careers: A Bilingual OER Hub for Experiential Chinese Studies.” The project will develop open educational resources (OER) for Chinese language and culture courses while creating new pathways for students to connect their classroom learning with career opportunities. The initiative will foster partnerships with local, national, and international companies and organizations to identify internship, volunteer, and career opportunities; invite professionals to share how language learning has shaped and supported their career paths; and provide mentorship to help students explore career options and navigate the job search process. We look forward to incorporating these efforts into the classroom!
