Biographical Sketch

I was originally born in Spain, in the northern region of Galicia. I completed my Law degree in Madrid, and I worked as a corporate lawyer for many years. I moved to Milwaukee in 2016 to complete the MA in Spanish at UWM. Since then, I have taught different levels of Spanish at UWM. My goal is to inspire my students to become actively interested in the Spanish language and culture, inside and outside of the classroom.

I really enjoy long walks with my husband and my dog, and being in contact with nature makes me happy, especially when the weather is warm!

UWM Land Acknowledgement: We acknowledge in Milwaukee that we are on traditional Potawatomi, Ho-Chunk and Menominee homeland along the southwest shores of Michigami, North America’s largest system of freshwater lakes, where the Milwaukee, Menominee and Kinnickinnic rivers meet and the people of Wisconsin’s sovereign Anishinaabe, Ho-Chunk, Menominee, Oneida and Mohican nations remain present.   |   To learn more, visit the Electa Quinney Institute website.
