PORTUGS 202 Portuguese for Spanish Speakers
3 cr. Undergraduate.
Content of PORTUGS 103 and PORTUGS 104 at a fast pace in one semester, building on students' knowledge of Spanish; similarities and differences between Spanish and Portuguese.
Prerequisites: SPANISH 204(P), Level 5 on the UW System Spanish Placement Test, or permission of instructor.
Course Rules: Students may not receive credit for PORTUGS 202 if they have taken PORTUGS 110 or PORTUGS 104.

PORTUGS 203 Third-Semester Portuguese
