  • Doctoral Practicum Trainee

Hi everyone, I am a third-year doctoral student in Counseling Psychology at UWM. I obtained my master's degree in mental health counseling at Boston College. I had several practicum experiences in university settings, intensive outpatient programs, and community mental health.

My primary theoretical orientation is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I’m interested in helping people connect with their values and focus on the present process within their body, mind, and relationships. My work is also influenced by trauma-informed care, multiculturalism, and feminism. I take a holistic perspective in my clinical work and want to help my clients use their strengths to achieve their goals. My clinical interest includes complex trauma and resiliency, grief, identity development, and emotional distress.

My research interest is in therapist factors in the therapeutic process, working alliance, and multicultural competency for therapists. I am working with Dr. Li at UWM.

I enjoy playing games and listening to music when I am not working.
