Amanda Mentjes, PMHNP-BC

Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Mary University in 2006. She worked as a registered nurse on an inpatient mental health unit for eight years.  During this time, she attended the University of Cincinnati.  In 2013, she graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing. Amanda is board certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.  She has experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. As a nurse practitioner, Amanda assesses, diagnosis, and treats a variety of mental health disorders including mood, adjustment, anxiety, ADHD, psychosis, eating disorders, and substance abuse.

When Amanda is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and pets. She also enjoys stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, volunteering, reading, crocheting, and doing puzzles.
