What is Microsoft Copilot?
Microsoft Copilot combines the power of large language models (LLMs) with up-to-date information from the web to give you better answers, greater efficiency, and new ways to be creative. The version of Copilot we have access to is called Copilot with EDP (enterprise data protection), the shield at the top tells you that you are logged into to Copilot and that enterprise data protection is active.
Get Started with Copilot
- Visit copilot.microsoft.com
- Select Sign In at the top right.
- Log in with your UWM credentials.
- If prompted, click on the Go to Copilot for work button in the upper right.
- You should now be logged into Copilot with EDP indicated by the shield at the top.
What to do With Copilot
- Ask questions and get answers
- Create images
- Analyze uploaded images
- Assist with various tasks like writing emails, documents, etc.
- Analyze documents for content, grammar, etc.
You can use Copilot with EDP to analyze FERPA data. But it is not to be used with other data like HIPAA, PCI, etc.
