Need a new computer?
Students and UWM faculty/staff have finance options available with resources conveniently located on campus!
- Students may have additional financial aid options. Read and fill in the Budget Adjustment Request to begin the process. But first visit the Financial Aid Office in Mellencamp 162.
- Along with their own financial institutions, Faculty/Staff may use a UW Credit Union personal loan to purchase a computer.
- Departmental Purchases have specific policies and requirements for purchasing computers and other hardware.
You might have additional financial aid options to help you purchase a new computer. Financial aid is first applied toward any charges on your PAWS account. If your charges are paid, and you have additional financial aid, you can use that funding to purchase a computer.
If your current financial aid award does not cover all your expected costs, the Financial Aid office can help you review any additional options you may have.
Not sure if you’ll get a refund check? Try the Total Cost Estimator.
