2025 Featured Events!
Counselor’s Last Campfire: A Murder Mystery
This year’s counselors have all gathered around the campfire as they continue their week long orientation for the 2025 season at Camp Geektopia. Unfortunately for one counselor, this will be their last! Players will need to search the camp for clues, solve puzzles, and interrogate suspects to catch this cold-blooded killer! Dinner provided, costumes encouraged!
Crafternoon
Stop by for a crafty afternoon of epic proportions! We’ll have a variety of geeky craft kits available for you to make and take!
Minecraft Party
The Union Rec Center & Esports Lounge will be packed with awesome Minecraft activities, both in-game and out! Enjoy some fantastic Minecraft food and drinks, arts and crafts, and participate in the Minecraft building challenge & Minecraft Championship!
Fandoms and Frosting
Try a concoction of awesome food and drinks, inspired by your favorite shows and movies! Try the Shrek Swamp Juice, Minions Pina Colada, and more! Cookies will also be available to decorate in all shapes and sizes!
Scary S’mories
Let’s gather ’round the campfire and pick up a book! A spooky rendition of the BookTok party, get cozy and enjoy s’mores and hot chocolate with a great story from Boswell Books!
Think While You Geek!
Put your knowledge of geek culture to the test against your friends and foes! Assemble your squad and join us in the Gasthaus for a night of trivia, with questions from across all interests!

The Geek Week Planning Assembly (or GWPA) plans and executes many of the Geek Week events! Students collaborate to create a diverse schedule that covers a range of niche interests. No matter what you geek out about, we want to share your passion and vision!
Craft The Schedule!
Collaborate with student organizations and campus partners to help their vision come to life! Geek Week is comprised of 20+ events that cover all corners of geek culture. Brainstorm must-see events, workshops, and screenings that’ll leave everyone geeking out!
Master Marketing!
Construct a concept and theme, design eye-catching posters, and create social media campaigns to share with students! Past themes include summer camp, tarot, and more!
