This exciting series of events is designed to celebrate and explore the diverse interests that make up our vibrant geek culture. From technology and gaming to science fiction and fantasy, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re a hardcore gamer, a tech enthusiast, a comic book aficionado, or just curious, Geek Week is the place to be.

Murder Mystery: Set Sail for Disaster

Monday March 2nd | Union Ballroom | 7pm

It’s a reunion night on the open seas! Join your fellow “alumni” for a cruise filled with laughter, nostalgia, and a twist! When a shocking murder interrupts the celebration, every guest becomes part of the investigation. The question is: Can you solve the case before the ship reaches shore? This event begins at 7pm. Please arrive on time to participate fully.

Take a trip to the Anime Milwaukee Convention downtown to celebrate anime, manga, Asian culture, music, gaming and more! Registration opens at 10:30am. Bus departs at 11:00am. Transportation back to UWM will not be provided.

The Geek Week Planning Assembly (or GWPA) plans and executes many of the Geek Week events! Students collaborate to create a diverse schedule that covers a range of niche interests. No matter what you geek out about, we want to share your passion and vision!

Collaborate with student organizations and campus partners to help their vision come to life! Geek Week is comprised of 20+ events that cover all corners of geek culture. Brainstorm must-see events, workshops, and screenings that’ll leave everyone geeking out!

Master Marketing!

Construct a concept and theme, design eye-catching posters, and create social media campaigns to share with students! Past themes include summer camp, tarot, and more!
