Present: A. Anderson, J. Boyland, V. Brown, E. Parcell, G. Rodger, J. Reisel

  1. Meeting called to order at 11:47 a.m.
  2. Automatic Consent
    Minutes of April 24, 2025 meeting approved as distributed. 
  3. Responsibilities of the Rules Committee
    Secretary Reisel presented the functions and responsibilities of the Faculty Senate Rules Committee.
  4. Set Agenda
    The committee reviewed the Faculty meeting agenda for September 18, 2025. Business items and time limits were set. The committee also discussed the possibility of holding Senate meetings fully in person.
  5. Other business
    The committee discussed possible cross-representation between the Rules and Codification Committees and considered potential future Senate agenda items, such as inviting the UW System President.
