The May 11, 2026, meeting minutes were approved as distributed.

- Introduction of Cindy Marifke, new GPRC coordinator.Committee member introductions.
- Review of committee charter.Review of GPRC meeting calendar for 2026-27.
- Planning to have two full program reviews in October 2026 – Engineering and Geography.Overview of the accreditation review process is also planned for October 2026.Planning to have three accredited program reviews in November 2026 and three more accredited program reviews in December 2026.Status updates on previous site visit external report.
- The Engineering external report has been distributed.The Geography external report will be distributed after this meeting.

VI. Other Business, As Needed
- New governance training on Wednesday, September 30 at 1:00 pm for interested members.
- Potential changes to the graduate program review process
- Vickie Moerchen shared that campus is looking at updating undergraduate and graduate program reviews.
- Dave Clark is working on having annual program reviews using an automated data portal. This would allow programs to be aware of their status yearly.
- The HLC recommends that program reviews are completed every seven years, but UWM would like to stay in a seven-to-ten-year cycle because of accredited programs.
- Vickie will have more information about the changes for the October or November meeting.
