  1. Called to order at 8:30 AM by Vice Chair, Bo Zhang
  2. Approved the September 10, 2025 meeting minutes
  3. Guest:  Associate Head Coach Cross Country Priscilla Schultz – 7th year of collegiate coaching, 14th overall.  Exciting time for UWM for recruiting and developing student-athletes.  In the middle of the season right now, head to Notre Dame this weekend.  Both the men’s and women’s programs are focused on improving.  Men’s team is mainly sophomores and juniors.  Women’s team is older with 5 seniors.
  4. Updates from the Athletic Department:
    1. Report from Director of Athletics, Amanda Braun
    2. Fall sports are having success in league play. Winter sports are in full practice mode.
    3. Reviewed updates from the HL Council meetings that occurred earlier in the week.
    4. Met with men’s soccer alums in Minneapolis that work for the MLS team Minnesota United, Khaled El-Ahmad, Chief Soccer Officer and Sporting Director and Manny Lagos, Chief Development Officer.
    5. Attending Oct 11 tailgate at UW with Chancellor Gibson hosted by UW System.

  6. Student-Athlete Updates
    1. MKE SAAC & Horizon League SAAC – Belle Roloff, Savannah Sievert, Zach Schmidt, Josie Johnson and Bella Lipski
      1. HL SAAC – haven’t had their 2nd meeting yet.
      2. MKE SAAC – had the S-A Welcome Back on 9/22, had 6 speakers to give an overview of their resources and had a fun competition of musical chairs.  S-A appreciation games occurred at WSOC and VB, a large majority of S-As showed up to support their peers.
        1. Next SAAC meeting will have Amanda and Peter as guests to discuss House Settlement updates.  
        2. Upcoming community service event: Beach clean-up at Bradford and McKinley Arena.
