Academic Staff Hearing and Appeals Committee

The Academic Staff Hearing and Appeals Committee (ASHAC) is composed of seven elected academic staff members. The primary function of the committee is to act as the hearing body for academic staff personnel matters including appeals of non renewal, layoffs, and dismissal for cause and conducts full and fair reviews of complaints and grievances. The committee meets as necessary throughout the year.
