Flowchart titled “UWM Faculty Promotion Procedures.” The chart shows a multi-step review process that moves from top to bottom through four levels: Executive Committee, Divisional Committee, Dean, and Chancellor, with final action by the Regents.

At each level, a “CASE” is reviewed and results in either “YES” or “NO.”

Executive Committee:

If YES, the case moves forward to the Divisional Committee.
If NO, the candidate may request Reconsideration.
If Reconsideration is YES, the case continues forward.
If Reconsideration is NO, the process stops.
If the case is denied with appeal, it goes to a FAGC Appeal.
If the appeal is YES, the case continues to the Divisional Committee.
If NO, the process stops.

Divisional Committee:

If YES, the case moves to the Dean.
If NO, the candidate may request Reconsideration.
If YES, the case continues.
If NO, the process moves forward with a negative outcome to the next level.

Dean:

If YES, the case moves to the Chancellor.
If NO, the candidate may request Reconsideration.
If YES, the case continues.
If NO, the process moves forward with a negative outcome.

Chancellor:

If YES, the case is forwarded to the Regents.
If NO, the process stops.

Dashed horizontal lines separate each review level. Yellow boxes indicate “Reconsideration” and “FAGC Appeal.” Red circled “NO” labels indicate points where the process ends. A legend notes that “NO = full stop.”
