The following seven questions must be included in all course evaluations (with the first five administered with a five-option Likert scale: Strongly agree, agree, neither agree nor disagree, disagree, strongly disagree):
- I understood what was expected of me in this course.
- The course workload was what I expected given the material and level of the course.
- The instructor encouraged student engagement with course content, discussions, and/or activities.
- The instructor engaged with students (e.g., providing timely responses, feedback, and opportunities to participate).
- The feedback I received improved my learning in this course.
- Open-ended: What would you change about this course?
- Open-ended: What did you like most about this course?
