As I graduate with my BA in Anthropology and prepare to pursue an MA in Public History with a certificate in Museum Studies at UW-Milwaukee, I’m deeply grateful for the experiences and mentorship that have shaped my path. My passion for museum work was sparked during my internship with the Pabst Mansion’s collections where I had the opportunity to engage with the preservation and conservation of historical materials. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of expanding that passion through my current role as Collections and Engagement Coordinator and my upcoming work with the archives at Jewish Museum Milwaukee. I have so much gratitude for the support and guidance of UWM's incredible staff such as Dr. Shannon Freire who has shown me so much compassion and enthusiasm in her teaching. I am also incredibly grateful for UWM's SET program and staff who helped me acquire funding and find internship opportunities that would have been otherwise inaccessible to me.
