Membership in Phi Beta Kappa is for life.This is a one-time fee, and there never will be annual dues to maintain your membership.
Most of the membership fee goes to the national Phi Beta Kappa office to support the activities and programs they provide. Your membership fee entitles you to all of their individual benefits, including networking, an alumni association, educational programming and conferences, awards, and more. A small portion of your fee goes to UWM’s Eta chapter. These funds support our operations including the production of certificates for students, an annual induction event, and a guest speaker. All officers who run the program are volunteers.
