Marie Wycklendt

  • Senior, German major

My name is Marie Wycklendt, and it is an honor for me to accept the invitation to join Phi Beta Kappa. My undergraduate career at UWM spanned the pandemic and included one online semester and a gap semester. My original pathway was in the School of Education, but early on I discovered a love for the German language and transferred to the College of Letters and Science, where I am finishing my senior year with a major in German. I would like to thank Dr. Jonathan Wipplinger, Dr. Jason Williamson, Dr. Justin Court, and especially Dr. Karolina May-Chu for their guidance and support during my time in the German program. As I begin the next chapter in my life, I look forward to applying all that have I learned from them and from all of my professors at UWM.

Thank you for the invitation to join Phi Beta Kappa. God bless!
