  • Senior, Biochemistry major with a Pre-Med track

I am beyond honored to be a member of Phi Beta Kappa. I am a third year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with minors in Biological Sciences and Mathematical Sciences on the pre-med track. I have been a CNA since my senior year of high school and have further developed my clinical skills through volunteer work at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital. Alongside these experiences, UWM has been incredibly supportive of my research journey. I began conducting biochemistry research under Dr. Alexander Arnold during my freshman year, earned a fellowship through the MCW Cancer Center and UWM Undergraduate Research Program as a sophomore, and have since been hired for the same position within the Data Science and Biostatistics Department under Dr. Paul Auer. Additionally, I have built a strong foundation in leadership first as a University Housing Resident Assistant and now as a treasurer of the recently revived UWM American Chemical Society Student, also known as the Chemistry Club. In my senior year, I plan to continue my extracurricular commitments while maintaining a strong academic work ethic. Furthermore, this summer, I plan to take the MCAT in preparation for applying to medical school next spring.
